The Panzer III was intended as the main battle tank for Germany during World War 2, however upon encountering Russian tanks like the KV-1 and T-34, it was quickly sidelined to light tank duties when heavier German armour became available.
Armed with a 50mm main gun, the Panzer III saw action in France, the Russian Front and North Africa and this model represents a typical Panzer III in operation during the invasion of France or on the Eastern Front.
This 1/16 scale R/C model has an operating air-soft main gun, authentic engine sound and exhaust smoke, machine gun sound and main armament gun sound (complete with simulated recoil).
The scale independent suspension system makes short work of difficult terrain and it will manage steep hills without any problem.
The tank's turret rotates 360 degrees, and the barrel can move 60 degrees. Steering is managed just like the full size and within minutes you will be operating this fantastic model.
The additional accessories pack includes decals and other fittings as well as a highly detailed tank commander, all of which adds to the scale appearance of this model.
