The "Baby Beast" combo matches the legendary MultiStar 2206 V2 CW/CCW motors with the 12A V3 Afro ESCs for a perfect 220~300mm quadcopter power combo. No more guess work, no more waiting for stock of all the combo parts.
The Afro ESC boasts high efficiency, all N-channel MOSFET design, jitter-free hardware PWM input, and smooth power response, the Afro ESC series are set to change the expectations of multirotor pilots around the globe. The Afro ESC series are shipped with multirotor specific SimonK software preloaded, no need to reflash. For added convenience the Turnigy USB linker can be used via the PWM signal lead for any future software updates eliminating the need for complicated flashing jigs or the need to cut open the heat shrink.
The 2206-2150KV V2 MultiStar nicknamed the “Baby Beast”, is the monster motor for the small 250 class quadcopters! Designed for 5 or 6 inch props, this motor has power on tap, and ready for your fully loaded 250. The motor has been beefed up in all the right places for FPV durability, with 3.17mm center shaft, 11mm prop flange and a 5mm prop shaft, there is no need to worry about the occasional tree in the way. *Note: lower mounting screw length is critical to check. The lowered housing was reduced in height to make a nice compact 2206, the tradeoff is the motor winding is closer to the bottom, so overly long mounting screws could potentially contact the windings and damage the motor.
