The Mk-24 was indeed the 'ultimate' evolution of the great Spitfire design with one of the most notable features being the prominent 5-blade propeller. You too can add that extra touch of realism to complete the look of your Durafly Mk-24 Spitfire with the super scale 5-blade set-up. The Durafly 5 blade Spitfire set is based on original drawings from scale aficionado Tom Hunt. Working with Tom, Durafly has been able to finally realize the dream of creating a scale looking, fully functional 5-blade set-up that looks as good as it performs!

The set includes the painted 5-blade spinner, 5 individual blades, prop hub with metal parts and a specifically designed prop nut that secures the whole assembly including the spinner to the motor shaft.  The set has been designed around the Durafly 5 blade 3648 550kv Spitfire motor made specifically for this application that will need to be purchased separately. A 45-55amp esc is also required.

In the air, the 5 blade set-up performs just as well as the original non-scale 4 blade prop on the stock 3S set-up. However, a 4S 2200mah lipo is recommended for the ultimate 5-blade experience. Flight times of 6-8 minutes are still guaranteed with either pack.

Add that finishing touch to your Mk-24 with the Durafly 5 blade set-up.

*Note*
- Due to the higher current draw on the 5-blade set-up it is strongly recommended that you upgrade the stock 35amp ESC for a 45~55amp unit.

- Your Mk-24 Spitfire must have the 'multi mount' firewall installed due to the longer motor can for this setup. Please check that your Mk-24's fuselage has this style of mount before ordering. Early production runs of the Mk-24 did not have this style of mount. See 'multi-mount' image in the files tab of this listing.
