The Arkbird 2.0 Autopilot System is a second generation flight stabilisation, autopilot and navigation system that is the perfect choice for fixed wing model aircraft especially those being flown in FPV mode where a reliable autopilot is almost a mandatory inclusion.
The Arkbird 2.0 is a fantastic plug and play system that is easy to install, easy to use and is packed full of features such as GPS waypoint flight, "Return to Home" functionality, auto-leveling, altitude hold and much more!
For critical flight stabilisation it utilizes GPS, barometer and attitude sensors to stabilize the model in flight but that's not all this system can do.
With the Arkbird 2.0 Autopilot System on-board your model, there is also no need to worry about losing control if ever you fly out of sight! You simply flick a switch and the "Return to Home" function can be activated. You can do this at any time to fly your model back to its take-off position and as a safety feature it is activated automatically if your model flies out of RF range.
In FPV mode the integrated OSD system will provide you with all of the critical information you need during your flights such as altitude, direction, home direction, roll angle, pitch angle and time since take-off, just to name a few.
The Arkbird Autopilot System comes with everything you need to setup your FPV model for the ultimate in GPS based Autopilot flight including a GPS unit, battery current sensor and airspeed meter. All power plugs and wire connections are included or pre-installed.
